Q: Why was the controller mounting hole removed?
A: The original skid plate had lower strength and relied on the controller for additional rigidity. However, the Sparks aftermarket skid plate is extremely robust. In extreme situations, if the skid plate were to deform, it could potentially damage the controller. To prevent incorrect installation and protect the controller, we have removed the mounting hole for the controller.
